The H2O of God
The H2O of GodMy pastor has started a new program in our youth service, and what that program is doing is breaking the bible down for us and giving it to us on a level were we can grasp and understand it while also building knowlage and wisdom so that we can understad it on our own. And I think it is fantastic, and if any other youth pastors are reading this you should do it also. (If you want more information about it E-mail Bro. Harrelson at barnabas14@graceba.net)
Anyway I was sitting in my bed one day after one of these “Lessons” and I was thinking back to what one of my friends Stacy had asked. She said that her and her friend (Monica) was talking to this girl and telling her about the oneness of God. And she told about an analogy she used, one I had heard before, about her being a sister, a daughter, and a student all in one. And it reminded me of an analogy that I had always heard being used and that analogy is that God is like water because it can be the liguid form of water, or the solid form of ice, or the gas form of steam (or whatever you prefer to call it). And I began to sit there and think about this H2O conept and something began to turn over in my mind. The person that thought up this analogy hit the nail right on the head because God is like water
First off there is the liquid form of H20 wich is commonly known as water. And you are sitting there sayin “Duh I know that, but what does that have to do with god” and he answer is everthing. The bible makes reference of “The water of Life” wich we know is the holyghost .Jesus told the lady at the well that he could give her water were she would never thirst again.
Second there is the gas form of water. Now if you look around you will probably see you living room or where ever you are in you house, but in reality there is air all around you, and moisture from evaporation and all sorts of other gases. Now (Mark 15:38) says when the Jesus died and gave up the ghost the veil in the temole was rent wich means it was ripped appart. Now behind the veil was the most holy of holies and only the high priest could go back there. They would even tie a rope around his foot because if he had sin in his life or disobayed gods word he would die when he went behind the veil so if he died they could just pull the body out. Now when the viel ripped it released the shakana wich is translated as “The Glory of God” and the bible says if filled the whole temple. Now back to the gas it is all around us Just like the glory of god is.
And finaly third there is ice.If you have been paying attention I have covered the Father and the Holy Ghost. Now your probably saying that there is no way that ice has anythong to do with Jesus ,but it does. In Antartica there is some ice there that is stronger than any metal we have ever made or found. Jesus was our example and his word is our rock, the thing wich we fall back onwhe we are discouraged or posably when we are to incoraged to the point were we need humbling.Jesus’s eample was the most basic, the most “solid” thing that you can fall back on, it is more stronger than anyother person or thing we can follow.
In conclusion I really don’t know where this stuff came from it all just kinda poped in my head, so if it seems a little out there, welcome to my mind. I don’t really see how this coul be and incouraging message so lets just consider this my first Bible study.
(I just wanted to let people know that if you feel like you want to copy an add stuff to the things I write feel free as long as it give god glory and teaches something)!!!!
